For individuals with disabilities & their families
Our Family SociAbility events provide an avenue for MVPs and their families to be in a comfortable environment where they can connect with other families who “walk in their shoes.” We desire to see our families develop lifetime friendships and support while doing family friendly activities.
Our events may include holiday-themed activities, dances, Beachwalk family days, downtown adventures, cookouts, movie nights, and more. For some of our events, registration is required due to capacity or venue request. Other events will be “come on in – the more the merrier!”

This special event is for individuals with disabilities of all ages and their families!
We are combining our social groups for August! We’re having our annual family luau dance!! Our venue sponsor is the ARC’s Community Campus. Thanks to the Junior Service League of St. Augustine, the Community Foundation of NE Florida, Upbeat Music Therapy, and DJ Dabbs for being sponsors of this leʻaleʻa (fun) social! There will be music, refreshments, entertainment, photo ops, and more! We encourage you to wear tropical clothes to represent that island vibe!
Date: Friday, August 23rd, 6-8pm
Location: The ARC’s Community Campus (2165 Arc Dr, St. Augustine, FL 32084)
Cost:
- $10/family (Family = MVP + 2 adults + siblings)
- $5/MVP adult solo (this is for any adult with a disability attending by themselves or are part of a group home)
Junior Service League of St. Augustine, the Community Foundation of NE Florida, and Upbeat Music Therapy are helping to offset the cost of this event, so families only pay $10/family!
