Parents Night Out! Spring Flings & Easter Things
April 12 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Ability Tree First Coast’s next Parents Night Out is on April 12th!! Our theme for the night is Spring Flings & Easter Things to get the kiddos in the spring and Easter mood!! Registration opens March 3rd @12:00AM!!
This event is for children with special needs and their siblings! We believe that safety is vital as families entrust us with their children. Therefore, we have a nurse onsite and each child with special needs is paired one-on-one with a volunteer to participate in that evening’s activities. Best Buddies of Flagler College has partnered with us as our volunteers, in addition to our ATFC volunteer team!
Enjoy a night out and some REST while the Ability Tree Team hang out with your child(ren) at Bridge of Life Church (96 Masters Dr., St. Augustine 32084).
At Parents Night Out, children with special needs and their siblings make new friends, play fun inclusive games, enjoy crafts, stories, accessible activities, and much more! Meanwhile, parents get a break from their ongoing care-giving responsibilities for FOUR HOURS!
Due to limited space and use of volunteers, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Once our spots are filled, there will be a waiting list in case of any family cancellations. If you are not able to register on our Eventbrite page because all spots are filled, please put your name on the Eventbrite waiting list!
There are 2 types of pre-registration depending on when you sign up, and this applies to the MVP and ALL siblings – one flat rate!
- Early Bird family cost is ONLY $30 for night! (deadline for this price is March 24th @11:59PM)
- Standard family cost is $40, which is still a great deal – only $10/hr for the MVP & the siblings to come (deadline April 7th @11:59PM*)
*There will be no registration accepted after April 7th @11:59PM due to planning and staffing.
An MVP Child Profile** needs to be completed in order to best accommodate your child with special needs. You can complete and submit the form online by clicking here. (**this is separate from the Eventbrite registration form signing up your children).
What are the ages allowed?
We welcome children ages 3 – 15 years, both MVPs and Super Sibs. Our teen Super Sibs may be more interested in participating as a Buddy, and that would be great! Let us know and we’ll get them connected.
Will dinner be served?
We will not be serving dinner for the children due to the various dietary needs. However, we will be having a snack time. Snack details will be provided to you the week of the event via an informational email. For our movie time (the last hour of the night as they wind down), we’ll be serving popcorn. We’ll have apple juice and water for them to drink.
What can I bring into the event?
If your child requires special foods, medications, adaptive equipment, etc., you may bring it. For medications and adaptive equipment, you’ll check it in at the registration table the night of and explain the use to your MVP’s buddy and/or nurse.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can contact us at 855-288-6735 Ext 5, or email@example.com.
